Welcome to the 2010-2011 year and to AAF District 7 website.
AAFDistrict7.com is the go-to place for any questions you may have or information you may need to find regarding all things District 7. From how to get in touch with a State Director, Club President or Former Governor to reading the history and bylaws of District 7 to finding out when the next district conference is on our calendar, you will find it all here.
The theme for this year is 'Face to Face: Finding New Perspectives'. This year is all about communications, not only to clearly communicate National and District happenings, events and initiatives but to develop and foster more professional dialogue and information sharing among the membership through all of the Districts communication tools. We will continue to have a District newsletter that publishes four times this year, and we are adding a monthly e-newsletter with District events and deadlines, advertising industry information, and AAF updates. The District website will get a facelift this year to be more concentric with the AAF brand and I will have a Governor's blog so you can follow my journey as District 7 Governor throughout the year. In addition, I would like for everyone to use the District 7 social media pages to create more discussion of AAF and industry topicsso 'like' us on Facebook (AAF District 7), 'follow' us on Twitter (7thAAF) and 'join' us on LinkedIn (AAF District 7).
I look forward to seeing many of you at the AAF District 7 Leadership Conference this weekend in Montgomery, AL. AAF Montgomery has been hard at work planning a conference full of professional development, club management workshops and fun!
Thank you for being a member of AAF District 7. I'm looking forward to a busy year full of communication. If you have questions, comments, ideas, please feel free to contact me or anyone on the District 7 Executive Committee at any time-we are here for you!
Let's get "Face to Face!"
